WinSouth Credit Union Opens at AES!

October 1, 2013 was OPENING DAY of our AES branch of WinSouth Credit Union.  It was a great first day!  Four GATE students served as employee "runners."  These students went to each of our 36 homerooms to gather students who wanted to save with us.  Our runners helped students find our branch and fill out deposit slips when needed.  We also had four bank tellers who greeted customers with friendly customer service, helped make deposits, and ALL FOUR tellers balanced their drawers at the end of the day!

Any 3rd or 4th grade student is welcome to open an account and save with us on Tuesdays.  Applications are in Mrs. Adams' classroom (408).  Students can deposit pocket change, bills, and checks.  A representative from WinSouth Credit Union, Miss Lissette, comes to assist each Tuesday and takes all our deposits to WSCU immediately following our banking hours.  Students who wish to withdraw money from their accounts can go with their parents to the WSCU on Highway 431.
